Arrest made in alleged shooting at Border Patrol officers in Little Village, DHS says
Federal officials said an arrest was made in connection with the shooting at Border Patrol officers in Little Village on Saturday.
Senior White House aides have reportedly been disappointed with ICE and impressed by Border Patrol’s operations in Los Angeles and Chicago, including rappelling from helicopters and leaping from unmarked trucks during raids, and believe that same approach could reinvigorate ICE’s field offices.

Spanish-language media reports alleged shootings directed at Border Patrol, under investigation
Two incidents of alleged shots fired at Border Patrol agents are under investigation, Univsion reports. Both incidents occurred on Nov. 6 on the border.
“Moments after exiting the CBP Vehicle, the Martinez Vehicle drove northbound ” at the agent and he “proceeded to fire approximately five shots from his service weapon at the driver of the Martinez Vehicle,” prosecutors wrote in a criminal complaint last month.
