Intel Corp., which has been fending off mounting competition in notebook processors, says a new range of chips will help enable the longest battery life available in laptops.

Intel has pulled back the curtain on "Arrow Lake" mobile silicon in the U, H, and HX series for the new year, focusing on increased power profiles and less on AI. Plus: "Lunar Lake" gets vPro.

Intel said it plans to ship additional Arrow Lake desktop chips this month, alongside two new desktop chips that have already begun to surface in motherboards for desktop PCs. Intel introduced the world to the desktop version of Arrow Lake in October 2024,
