While numerous Liverpool stars have failed to impress in recent weeks, Ibrahima Konate has been among the worst on show. The central defender has been responsible for countless mistakes this season and managed it once again with a needless foul on Willy Gnonto to give Leeds a route back into the game.

Somehow Jürgen Klopp kept the whole show on the road for as long as he did, and while no one ever claimed he was always easy to work with – including the man himself – lasting that long at a club subject to the scrutiny and demands of Liverpool is an achievement in itself.
