The Cincinnati Bengals are back in the hunt in the updated AFC playoff picture after improving to 4-8 with a 32-14 win Thanksgiving night against the Ravens in Baltimore. The Bengals trail the first-place, 6-5 Pittsburgh Steelers by 2 1/2 games in the AFC North. The Ravens fell 1/2 game behind Pittsburgh at 6-6.
Buffalo dropped a spot in the AFC playoff standings with Thursday's loss to the Houston Texans. Then it slipped another as the rest of Week 12 unfolded on Sunday. The Bills are the No. 7 seed, the final playoff position, in a congested AFC. They still control their own destiny for the postseason.
As of Monday, the Patriots are currently the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a record of 10-2. They moved up in the standings thanks to the Colts, who lost in overtime to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Denver Broncos, who were on their bye this week, are now sitting at No. 2 in the AFC playoffs with a 9-2 mark.
