A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a man was fatally stabbed in Leicester. Police said Louis Howard died at the scene after officers were called to a house in Oakdale Close, Braunstone Frith, shortly after 22:40 BST on Wednesday. A post-mortem examination confirmed he died from a stab wound.

Karmelo Anthony told responding officers he stabbed Austin Metcalf in self-defense, an arrest affidavit shows. Anthony's bond hearing is Monday.
