Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has urged people not to ignore the suffering in Gaza amid Israel’s military campaign and longstanding blockade of the territory.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola gave an emotional speech about the suffering in Gaza after receiving an honorary degree from Manchester University on Monday. The Spaniard was being recognised for his contribution to the city during his nine years at the Etihad and chose to use his platform to highlight the continued bombing of the region by Israel.
