Bueckers, the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft out of UConn, was placed in the WNBA’s concussion protocol after a 97-92 loss at Chicago on May 29.

Wings rookie Paige Bueckers will sit out her third consecutive because of a concussion as she has been ruled out vs. the Sparks on Friday night.

Bueckers appeared to suffer a head injury after she collided with Chicago's Courtney Vandersloot in their meeting last Thursday, in which she put up a big game with 15 points, 8 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. She was put into concussion protocol after the game.
