Walmart is recalling close to a million water bottles after a dangerous hazard was revealed involving the lid. Multiple injuries were reported.
Walmart on Thursday recalled Ozark Trail 64 oz Stainless Steel Insulated Water Bottles. The water bottle's lid could "forcefully eject" when a person tries to open the bottle after carbonated beverages, perishable beverages or food were stored inside over time, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Walmart has recalled 850,000 Ozark Trail water bottles after reports of injuries from forcefully ejecting caps. Two users lost vision permanently. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission urges consumers to stop using the bottles.
