The top-seeded Montana State Bobcats did that and then some, turning away eighth-seeded Idaho 52-19 in the quarterfinals of the Football Championship Subdivision Friday night in Bozeman. Montana State (14-0) will face the winner of South Dakota-UC Davis in the semifinals. Idaho’s season ends at 10-4.

Montana State used a flurry of touchdowns to close out the first half en route to a 52-19 win over Idaho in the quarterfinal round of the FCS playoffs.

Idaho scored 9 points in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough to make up for Montana State's commanding performance all game. The Bobcats win 52-19.

Idaho is making good on that claim. In the quarterfinals of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs, the 10-3 Vandals are looking to reverse a 38-7 regular season annihilation in October at the hands of Montana State, undefeated and ranked number one in FCS.
