A nurse, triathlete, Sunday-school teacher, husband and father died at 54. Now an entire street in East Memphis is flying Cubs flags in his honor.
US President Donald Trump said Friday that Memphis will be the next city to receive a federal policing surge, expanding his law-and-order agenda after.
The move follows Trump’s earlier decision to place the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC, under federal control and order about 2,000 National Guard troops into the nation’s capital, as well as the deployment of troops to Los Angeles to assist immigration officials.
