Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Munich on Saturday. He also said he spoke with Trump envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio offered some reassurance to uneasy European leaders at the Munich Security Conference, but did not back off underlying US demands.

Throughout all this, Rubio has appeared consistently at Trump’s side to amplify and justify his choices, cementing the metamorphosis from critic and rival in 2016 — dubbed “Little Marco” by Trump — to one of the president’s most loyal lieutenants.
