Social media was ablaze Sunday after Anthony Kim's come-from-behind victory at LIV Golf Adelaide for his first pro win in nearly 16 years.
The popular, outspoken three-time PGA Tour winner then delivered a must-watch news conference following his first worldwide win in 5,795 days. Kim’s vulnerability and honesty about his comeback from drug, alcohol and mental health struggles, as well as 12 years away from golf, only bolstered what is the golf story of the year so far.
Kim was relegated from LIV at the end of last season, but earned his spot back by finishing third in the LIV Promotions event, LIV's version of Q School. He joined the 4Aces after Patrick Reed left LIV to play primarily on the DP World Tour this year so he can return to the PGA Tour next season.
