Auburn's victory over Michigan State came with a scare in the second half as Johni Broome went down with a right elbow injury.
Broome becomes the second Auburn Tiger ever to win regional Most Outstanding Player, a feat first accomplished by Jared Harper in 2019. This March Madness, Broome has averaged 17.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 50% from the field.
