Jimmie Ward will be subject to the NFL’s personal conduct policy following a felony domestic violence charge in Texas.

Houston Texans safety Jimmie Ward was arrested on Thursday morning in Magnolia, Texas on a third-degree felony family assault charge, according to a report from NFL.com. Ward was arrested at 5:38 a.m. local time and booked about an hour later. He is currently being held without bond.

With a long break until training camp arrives at the end of July, Ward was asked by the Nashville media what his plans are during the downtime in the NFL schedule. His response, though not safe for work (NSFW), was exactly what Titans fans want to hear. "Just work out, study the playbook, and throw the (expletive) out of the ball," Ward said.
