Orlando guard Jalen Suggs has left the arena in a wheelchair after an NBA Cup semifinal loss to New York. Suggs injured his left hip during the game on Saturday night.

The Orlando Magic cannot seem to catch a break as they watch yet another one of their star players go down with injury. Jalen Suggs exited Orlando’s 132-120 semifinal loss to the New York Knicks with a left hip injury after attempting to play through visible discomfort in the third quarter.

Tonight, as the Orlando Magic fell to the New York Knicks 132-120 in the NBA Cup semifinals, Jalen Suggs tried his best to carry the team. Without Franz Wagner and with Paolo Banchero still ramping up,

Jalen Suggs had a spectacular 25-point first half, going shot for shot with Knicks star Jalen Brunson through the opening 24 minutes, but he exited the game after attempting to play through a left hip injury he suffered in the third quarter.

Magic guard Jalen Suggs declined to say much about the left hip injury that kept him out of most of the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game against New York.

Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. got into it with 76ers center Andre Drummond. A player was ejected at the end of the scuffle, but it wasn't either of them. They each got one technical foul. It was Jalen Suggs who got two techs and was tossed. Jalen Suggs was ejected because he pursued a scrap with pretty much everyone.
