Kyle Larson crashed during Friday's qualifying practice for the Indianapolis 500 but remains confident ahead of this weekend's time trials.

INDIANAPOLIS — NASCAR star Kyle Larson crashed for the second time in the lead-up to the Indianapolis 500 on Friday when he lost control of his Arrow McLaren entry and hit the wall in the final practice session before this weekend's qualifying runs.

Kyle Larson walked away from a crash Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as he attempts to compete in the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on the same day later this month. This is Larson's second crash at Indianapolis this year.

Though a few Indy 500 grandstand tickets still remain, IMS expects to sell them out, which is great news for local fans wanting to watch on TV.

The Indianapolis 500 is expected to be sold out and the local blackout will be lifted so fans in the area unable to attend can watch it live

All 250,000 seats will be sold out come race day, and that's not counting the 150,000-plus spectators that'll take over the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's infield.
