SAN FRANCISCO – Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI, has unveiled plans to launch “Baby Grok,” a kid-friendly version of its AI chatbot, Grok. The announcement was made via Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) account, stating, “We’re going to make Baby Grok @xAI, an app dedicated to kid-friendly content.”

In a tweet, Musk said the kid-friendly version of its Grok AI chatbot is designed to provide safe and educational content for children. The announcement follows criticism of Grok's more adult offerings, including an AI avatar named Ani that was reported to engage in flirtatious dialogue and suggestive actions, even with 'Kids Mode' enabled.
