According to the alert, Camila Guzman went missing earlier in the day from the area around Deleon Street, south of Colonial Boulevard, in Fort Myers. At the time, she was wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt and black pants. After she disappeared, Camila may have been seen on Southeast 5th Avenue, in Cape Coral.

Cape Coral Police and the Lee County Sheriff's Office are assisting Fort Myers Police in the search for 2-year-old Camilla Guzman. According to Cape Coral Police, the suspect, Luis Valentin, 24, fled into Cape Coral, and added that the two were last seen near the 500 block of Southeast Fifth Avenue, behind the Cultural Park Theater.
