Lakers head coach JJ Redick told reporters that Doncic was vomiting all day before Game 3. Doncic looked visibly weak and sick during the contest, a game the Lakers lost to go down 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.

Dončić had 17 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in 40 minutes in Game 3 while he was dealing with a stomach illness. He was said to be feeling better prior to Game 4. The Lakers will play the Timberwolves in Minnesota for Game 5 of the first-round series on April 30 at 10 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on TNT.

LeBron James finished with 38 points, but Luka Doncic struggled to find his shot while battling illness in the Lakers' 116-104 loss to Minnesota in Game 3.
