PCB Board of Governors (BoG) is set to convene on December 18 in Islamabad, with several critical matters on the agenda

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will chair the meeting which would also be attended by other high-ups of the board. The agenda of the meeting includes discussions on the ICC Champions Trophy, Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, and the upcoming cricket season 2025.

The administrator warned if Pakistan pulls out of the Champions Trophy, it could face possible lawsuits from the global cricket body. He added broadcasters could also sue as such a move would affect their estimated revenues. "PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has to come clean on the whole issue," he said, stressing MPAs are identical across countries.

The final for Champions Trophy 2025 could be finalised on Saturday (14 December) as ICC president Jay Shah is expected to virtually meet Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi to discuss the hybrid model and schedule.

A similar hybrid model was adopted during the men's 50-over Asia Cup last year, when Pakistan hosted the tournament.

The former Pakistan star has raised concerns over the PCB's potential acceptance to a reported compromise deal with ICC.

The Pakistan Cricket Board have reportedly retained full hosting rights for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 but will not be compensated for agreeing to a hybrid model. However, the ICC has promised Pakistan a Women's tournament after 2027.
