Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes has reiterated on a couple of occasions this offseason the team is not going to draft prospects just to fill a supposed need on the roster. Players targeted by Detroit's front office and personnel department must fit the stringent criteria in order to be part of the gritty and resilient culture.

We are just a couple of weeks away from the 2025 NFL Draft, and as each day goes by, the Lions trading up or down from their 28th pick feels more and more like something that's going to happen. Lions GM Brad Holmes has not at all been opposed to making draft day trades.
