As data center demand soars, Amazon expands the use of wastewater to cool its U.S. data centers and curb its use of drinking water.

Amazon said Monday that it will spend $20 billion on two data center complexes in Pennsylvania, including one it is building alongside a nuclear power plant that has drawn federal scrutiny over an arrangement to essentially plug right into the power plant.

Gov. Josh Stein called Amazon's plan to build data centers and fund job training programs one of the largest investments in the state's history.
