Fuentes was charged with murder in the first degree, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence, the NMSP said.

Law enforcement says one suspect is in custody after a shooting at the University of New Mexico’s main campus in Albuquerque left one person dead and another person injured Friday morning.

The shooting suspect was arrested by state police officers in Valencia County, which is outside of Albuquerque.
