You can easily spend a couple of hours in this free museum near Fort Bragg. Excellent dioramas explain the history and development of the 82nd airborne and paratroopers in the US. Very clear curatiā¦ Full review by tosl

If you are in town for any reason, make this a stop during your trip. The museum is very well done and will take roughly an hour. I would go back next time I am in town. Full review by drockcamp
admission is always free, but the kind gesture is offering a donation to help keep it operating. The Virtual Movie is expensive tho...not worth it. Kinda lame!
I would like to take my grandparents to the museum, but my grandfather has difficulty standing for long periods of time. Are there plenty of places to take a break? Benches, chairs, etc., throughout the museum?

Oh, yes. They certainly took into consideration that visitors might want to sit and reflect and to absorb all of the wonderful exhibits. However, I did notice that there is no easy access to rest rooms without doubling back or moving ahead to the exits. It is a very moving and informative experience, going at your own pace. Enjoy!
